Alla Costiera

Alla Costiera

Alla Costiera is the winery owned by Filippo Gamba, managed with a passion for the world of wine that has been passed down from his father Gerardo. Its seven acres are located in Vò, in the heart of the Euganean Hills, south-west of Padua, and here nature is the real protagonist: in 1998 Filippo began a run looking at the respect for the environment, for the territorial characteristics, having been fascinated by the products of nature and aiming at a biodynamic method that has been inspired by the theories of Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner himself since 2005. From year to year the experience of Filippo Gamba in the cultivation and processing of the screw has increasingly expanded and now produces wines whose beautiful bubbles are all natural, from spontaneous refermentations. Here the soils are limestone and clay, and each year give life to unique wines, which are striking for their elegant and harmonious character, authentic expressions of their terroir of origin. The name "Alla Costiera" is derived from the slang name "coast", where the company is located, and, at the same time, symbol of the sunny exposure enjoyed by the screws. So the name itself encloses the soul of the company, closely linked to its territory and move every day from the desire to transmit through its wines the peculiarity that distinguishes it: a love of nature and traditional craftsmanship.
